The Cliffs NR Junk Art Auction is an opportunity for everyone with some artistic flair and piles of junk - or the desire to beachcomb or comb through others piles of junk. Create artwork, sculpture, furniture or anything else you can dream up for the Junk Art Exhibition and Auction.
The Cliffs NR Junk Art Exhibition will open on Monday 14th March, 2011 for public viewing (entry free) and conclude with the Junk Art Auction (a ticketed event) on Sunday 20th March, 2011.
All the Junk Art will be auctioned with proceeds of the auction donated to the Royal Flying Doctor Service.. Tony Crook, Member for O'Connor is taking on the role of auctioneer for the event and as a past President of the Royal Flying Doctor Service he will be keen to raise maximum $$ at the auction for this essential service.
How to enter the Cliffs NR Junk Art Exhibition & Auction
To exhibit your creations and enter them in the Junk Art Auction, please download, complete, and return the forms below.Note the close off date for entry paperwork has been extended to 28th February with work required to be delivered to the Cannery on the 8th March. Tickets for the Auction will be on sale at the end of February so check this page again for details then. Exhibition opening times will also be available then.

- The Festival of the Wind Committee is pleased to confirm that award-winning singer-songwriter Dan Sultan will be the headlining act for the Festival of the Wind on Saturday 16th March, 2013.

Sultan plays a blend of country, soul and rock 'n' roll.
Rani Stewart, Chairperson of the Festival Committee said "Dan Sultan's style of music is perfect for the Festival.
