Flickerfest

Flickerfest 2011Flickerfest is the screening the best Australian short films in a unique and relaxed summer environment this event will be held outdoors at the Soundshell on the evening of Friday 18th March, 2011.

Entry is only $5 per person (no concessions). Pre-show starts at 6:15pm with a screening of local kids Making Movies production (20 minutes) then straight into Flickerfest.

Heaven for film fanatics

The Esperance premiere of Woody Island, the movie follows Flickerfest at Fenwick Cinemas, Dempster Street at 8:50pm on Friday the 18th March.

The Flickerfest Programme

The programme consists of short films screening in competition and non-competitive showcases.

Program has a festival rating of 15+ and is approximately 100 minutes long. Under 15's must be accompanied by an adult.

All you have to do is bring a blanket and/or picnic. Enquire at local cafe's Ollie's and Alimento about menu's for picnic hampers that can be pre-ordered and picked up on the day. Food will also be available at the venue.

Look out for Flickerfest posters/programs around town.
