Farmers Market
It's something everyone has been talking about for a long time - why doesn't Esperance have a Farmers Market?
We think that the Festival of the Wind is an ideal opportunity to test the water with an Inaugural Esperance Farmers Market in keeping with the sustainability theme of the Festival - promoting low food miles, local produce etc.
There will be opportunities for local food producers - meat, honey, wines, olive oil, seafood and also collectives such as P&C's and fundraising groups to grow and sell vegetables, fruit, preserves, eggs and baked goods.
The Farmers Market will be located at the Scout Hall on the Esplanade (next to the Yacht Club) from 8am to 1pm on Saturday 19th March, 2011
